The human direction remains active, but operates at a different altitude. It asks whether the system still serves its users, whether complexity is justified, whether the product remains one coherent whole and whether the original purpose is still visible.

When drift appears, the correction should return to purpose, direction or boundaries. The human should resist the instinct to solve the technical problem personally unless the governing intent itself has changed.
